Students create virtual display designs that would be impractical and expensive to build as a student project. Using their avatars, they can walk around the displays, viewing them from different angles and see how customers might perceive them. In this way they can evaluate the strengths and weaknesses of a concept...like a 3-d thumbnail sketch.
